Microscopes and cameras
Does PETROG work with my microscope ?
The stepping stage is designed to fit most rotary stages. When you order a stepping stage, the configuration of your rotary stage is checked to ensure that your stepping stage is configured with a base plate arrangement so that the dowels and mounting screws will fit your microscope. The stepping stage has been successfully mounted on all the leading brands of microscope.
Will PETROG work with my existing microscope camera ?
With the advent of high resolution digital video cameras PETROG needs a bespoke interface with each make and model of camera, as there is no standard interface. To implement an interface we have worked with the manufacturers to interface with a range of makes and models. If your camera is not on the list of supported cameras then it might not be supported. If you want to use an existing camera then please contact us so that we can investigate including that camera in the range of supported cameras.
What about power supply ?
The stepping stage control box requires a power supply. When PETROG is shipped we ship with a transformer and power lead that is suitable for your country.
