Documentation
PVK documentation is in the latest versions of the PETROG and PetrogLite manuals. Documentation can be downloaded here.
Connecting
The PVK app communicates with PetrogLite via a mechanism known as “application tethering”. This requires connectivity between the PC on which PetrogLite is running (the source device), and the device on which the PVK app is running (the destination device). PetrogLite6 supports both Wi-fi and Bluetooth connections.
For Wi-fi, both the source device and the destination device need to be connected to the internet via the same sub-network.
For a Bluetooth connection, Bluetooth must be enabled on both devices. You also need to have the two Bluetooth devices paired before you can establish the connection.

Windows
PETROG Virtual Keyboard is available for Windows devices, ideally it needs touch-screen capability but can also be used with a mouse. It can be run on a separate device (connected either via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth) or on the same machine as PETROG/PetrogLite.
PVK Editor is a Windows-based tool that allows you to import, create and customise keyboard layouts for your PVK application.

Note the use of the PVK requires an additional option enabled in your PETROG or PetrogLite licence key. For PETROG, dependent on when your licence key was issued, it may be necessary to update to a new key. If you require a new licence key then please contact us and tell us your control box ID number (the number shown on the main page of the software, and on the underside of the control box).
PVK provides additional input and can be run on as many devices as you wish.
Android
Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the APK file for installing the PVK application on an Android device. Download the relevant file on to your Android device and click on it to install (see the manual for full details of the installation procedure).
