Enhancements:
Class names are now user-editable as these are read from the relevant database table.
Sample reference can now optionally include a depth range, not just a single depth
Enhancements to import of tops, for selecting a method to handle samples with a depth range
Outline logging: option to display existing annotated textural image for review; hidden the Touchstone related options for outline logging when the data style is anything other than Sedimentary.
Edit Ticklists: undeclared classes are now not shown in SelectClass, and the options are now enabled when the first row is automatically selected (previously it was necessary to click on another row first and then re-select the first row)
Textural (manual move): changes so that the software doesn't try to position the SteppingStage based on AoI limits in this mode, as these may not be defined.
Option to set an upper limit for travel in the y-direction (vertical axis), in order to be able to limit the potential for clashes with microscope objectives if necessary (dependant on the microscope and what objectives are available)
Working with oversize slides: fixes for "Oversize Y" AoI shape option; fix for issue where messages could end up being displayed behind the image window when working with oversized slides.
Bug fixes:
Fixes when collecting textural data (major/minor axes, or just major lengths) from stored images.
Various fixes relating to grain size histograms e.g. the last Wentworth bin being incorrectly labelled (e.g. "Bin #12)", and now the plot updates when changing the Wentworth type.
Outline logging: fix when grabbing an image, so that we now check if the image is fully zoomed out, and pass through the grab image size accordingly, rather than just passing through "zoomed" (so it now works if the user has zoomed all the way out); call "restart" when doing a save or discard that closes the window, in order that any "in progress" digitisations are properly cleared, so they do not cause problems when next grabbing an image;
Fixes for problems with data for Touchstone, including changes to clay coat statistics calculations (addition of standard deviation);
There were still routes out of Data Edit - Quan Comp that could leave the data saved in the database in summed form. Now fixed this, and deactivated the close option on the Windows border, so that it is now not possible to close the window without the internal check on summation status being carried out.
Calibration from image – now has scrollbars if the image is large;
Archived images – was not working when using Previous/Next to go through samples to see what images have been saved automatically; "Show Image" now working for textural and est comp images; Virtual Image menu is visible/enabled in Image options window when logging from stored images.
Cameras:
General: improvements to messages displayed if there is a problem when clipping the frame for display.
GTVision: Improved error messaging in case where camera connection is lost ("camera is pulled out")
Nncam / GTVision: implemented frame speed selection and persistence via the registry; fix for calculation of number of frame clip attempts that have failed.
